Client Outcomes

We track outcomes with the same rigor we bring to risk identification. The following data is drawn from our client follow-up program, conducted 6 and 12 months after engagement completion.

4.2

Avg. concerns at intake

13.7

Avg. concerns at completion

74%

Concerns validated by subsequent events

89%

Strategic plans revised after engagement

+41%

Decision confidence (client-reported)

-52%

Regret at 12-month follow-up

We note that client-reported anxiety increased +67% and regret decreased -52%. These move in opposite directions. This is not a contradiction. A person who is anxious about the right things makes fewer decisions they will later regret. We consider both metrics a success.

Case Studies

"Before working with CPC, I had identified three risks associated with the acquisition. The engagement identified eleven more. Seven of those eleven materialized within eight months. I had prepared for four of them. If we hadn't done this work, I would have prepared for zero."

— CFO, mid-market manufacturing company

"My previous experience with executive coaching was that I left feeling better and then the things I was worried about happened anyway. After CPC, I left feeling worse, and then the things I was worried about happened, and I had a plan."

— CEO, Series B technology company

"The document was nineteen pages. I read it twice. I sent it to my board. My board said it was the most useful thing I'd ever sent them. That is a direct quote. I have never sent my board anything they found useful before."

— Founder, professional services firm

A note on outcomes: 74% of risks we identify materializing is not a failure rate. It is an accuracy rate. Our job is not to prevent risks. Our job is to identify them so you can prepare. Preparation is your job. We have found this division of labor works well when both parties understand it.
